Tom Ford Reveal.

Inspirational Video from one of my idol Mr. Tom Ford.
After revealing a series of trailer clips, OWN’s full-length footage highlighting world-renowned fashion designer and film director Tom Ford is now available. The documentary brings to light Ford’s every day happenings, as to let you into the otherwise closed quarters of his rather particular lifestyle. While most people think of the Texas native in regards to his overwhelming impact on the fashion industry, there is much more than meets the eye with the well-versed creative. He is also a well-respected Oscar nominated film director whose talents expand far beyond simply building an unmistakable fashion empire. View the entire piece above to gain further insight into the highly intriguing man that is Tom Ford.

I dream of "Atelier"

Tuesday 5th - I dream of "Atelier"

Just a moment right before a person die, they said a flash back of memories from childhood and their happiest memories come to them as if they were relive their happiest moment.

I just happen to have one while showering.

It is about 4:30 am, my usual awake hours. With a run around day in a truck driving around town for no important reason, run to the groceries store, bank, my usual favorite coffee destination, then home doing the normal routine, texting the one I love, the one I happen to like and the one I have a crush on. Pop something quick in the stove or the microwave and back to stitching and needle threading, the unseen moment of a fashion designer. Peace and quiet occupy the room as random channel is turn on... quiet.... very quiet, I can literally heard a pin drop as it slip out of my fingers and into the wooden floor.

Wasn't sure if it is the deep concentration on sewing or was I too full from random snacking from things that I gotten at the store earlier, but I gotten lazy and tire.

A quick shower before bed.

As I gather up all my products, little ducky, scrubs gloves, 2 type of face wash, shower gel, shampoo conditioner, shaving cream and a razor (I do need a lot for a shower)

As the water gotten to the perfect temperature, and the room starting to fog. My mind starting to wonder off in dreamland, or is it that my head just never know when to take a freaking break. An Idea pop up that I'd never though off. "Atelier"

"Atelier" is the French word for "workshop", and in English is used principally for the workshop of an artist in the fine or decorative arts, where a principal master and a number of assistants, students and apprentices worked together producing pieces that went out in the master's name. This was the standard way of working for European artists from the Middle Ages to the 18th or 19th century, and common elsewhere in the world.

What if there is a movie that is document the real world of Haute Couture, I mean not just the fashion of Haute couture, but the true root of couture sewing. where it's all came from?!?! a quick preview of the new movie feature the famous "Les Miserables" is to be in theatre early next year was base on an old french world revolution... what if "Atelier" is also to base on the same era, where we document the begin of french fashion... the art of couture, true couture. what is it like to be in fashion school back then, or does it really have a school when couture start. what the struggle was it like and so far, wouldn't it be great to have it be document from old world french era to modern day today to experience what it is like from the true couturier back then translate to the couturier of today?!?!

Just some random though in my 20 minutes of bubbles and shower gel.

If a Woman Can Wear Suits, Why can't Men Wear Skirts?

If Women Can Wear Suits, Why Can’t Men Wear Skirts? (via The Los Angeles Fashion)

The Spring and Fall Fashion Shows of this year have displayed many unique trends, one of them being men wearing skirts. Is this just going to be another FAD or will it actually become a TREND for men? The controversy behind it I’m sure will help determine that! In  1966 Yves Saint Laurent put France…

"House of Label" Stylize Che'nelle

What is it like to be a superstar?

Well we started the shooting day as an early bird at roughly 9am. And since Che'nelle travel pretty much every 7 days of the week to either New York, Japan or back to LA. We meet up at my studio to drive out to location, which is for me 3 hrs drive but mapquest lie and say 2 hrs. Anyway we started out grabbing starbucks and then McDonals, and this was just 5 mins into our long day shoot and we are already stuffing our faces.

As we drove out to the Los Angeles fabulous always stuck I-10 East, then to 605 N, then 210 East, then 15N... and for me 5 hrs later we arrive to Bumpfuck Egypt... LOL JK.

So we arrived to Fidel and Joshua 5 acres ranch where the world champion horse are breed, feed and exercise like professional athlete. When I die, I want to be reincarnated into a show horse, or in my case a unicorn!!!

So as I stretch out my old corps and try to regain the feeling of my now numb bottom, we unload about 30 outfits that I'd pull, bought and rent out from. We run over concept of looks and Che'nelle is now in Makeup. As I waited for the magic of Fidel, which took a good 2 hrs. We when from critiquing how giant JLo ass was at the American Idol performance recently, to the secret of horse semen... yes horse semen... if you want to know the details, ask Fidel.

And since it was too far of a location from LA, everyone now find out Peter Phan also a hairstylist. just to add into my long list of profession. I mean it is not that hard to curl hair, the only thing I can't do is be the president of the United State. Anywho as I set Che'nelle hair into section and curl pin into place, Fidel finish off her make-up, highlight, contour, lips, eyebows, eye shadow, blush, yada yada yada.

We set up for our first location which is with a giant black stallion name Oscar's who I like to call "Big and Black".

After that we move into a hay room where there are about 30 chickens hanging out watching the shoot.

It is now 7pm as we race to our next location as the sun is setting which was about 10 mins away to this abandon field of tree stumps and grass and dry up bushes.... and did I say the ground was covered in spider webs and ant hills...

It is now about 9pm as we headed back to the ranch and do our last look of the day, the "Vine of Eden" we are all exhausted, tire, hungry, sleepy, grumpy and bitchy queens... thinking of driving back to LA at that time is a nightmare. We finish our last shot around 11pm... that's a wrap.

Now a very long long long long drive back. we reach LA around 2am...  Can barely open our eyes... Che'nelle and I jump into a close by Vietnamese Pho and stuff our face before headed home... A few hours Later Che'nelle catch a 20 hrs flight to Japan, and I a 5 hrs drive to the desert of Arizona.

And that's what it is like to spend a day with Superstars.

Iconic Dior with a modern twist: the French house sent out a polished, sweetly feminine collection in Paris on Friday that swept aside the hum of fashionista chatter about John Galliano's succession. WTF is she wearing

Sometime Celebrities are not on their right mind...  Fashion are just a hit and miss, and sometime you look at it and it just scream out WTF.

Never mind that Rihanna's sprouting brown roots give the illusion that she's wearing a particularly dainty yarmulke, or that she's styling a denim-on-denim Texas tuxedo (set off with a denim bustier). Please direct your attention downward. See that? No, you're not having a nightmarish flashback to that Caribbean cruise you took with your grandparents in 1989. RiRi really is wearing a fanny pack. And despite being emblazoned with coolly ironic gold dollar signs, it remains, at heart, a fanny pack, an accessory guaranteed to increase your waistline while simultaneously decreasing your style cred.
The third time Heidi Klum was asked if she was a fugitive from a fashionable chain gang, she started to rethink the wisdom of her "jailhouse frock" challenge on "Project Runway."
There's a reason why satin is only one letter away from Satan: Both are evil, unforgiving and bound to make you suffer in unholy ways. Behold a cloven-footed, Santa-cheeked Katie Holmes, who clomps out of a breakfast meeting in New York (we fervently pray it wasn't about her fashion line) wearing Indiana Jones' fedora, Mr. Rogers' cardigan and a shiny orange traffic cone that a presumably contrite Tom Cruise placed around the wreckage of her once-promising career. Alas, crotch-clutching fabric wasn't Katie's only misstep.
Our assessment of Kate Bosworth's ensemble went something like this: What fab sunglasses! Oh, pretty necklaces. And who makes that cute sweater? ... [silence] ... [mouth opening, closing, opening again] ... [more silence] ... What's happening? What's going on here? Why is she wearing sheer, minty-green pleated drapes? And dear Lord, clunky Velcro sneakers that retail for an unconscionable $760? Those are even sillier than Kate Bosworth still being a viable paparazzi target.
Coming to Lifetime TV this fall: "When Flowbees Attack: The Chloe Sevigny Story, or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying About My Haircut and Love Blending Into the Background."
Members of the South Korean navy gave Brooklyn Decker an enthusiastic welcome as she hit the "Battleship" red carpet in Seoul styling a backless, diaphanous lace dress. So excited were the sailors to see a real live Sports Illustrated swimsuit model that they didn't even notice her gargantuan, booty-disfiguring granny panties. Someone who did notice: Lisa Rinna, who's now worried that Brooklyn may be trying to muscle in on her new Depends gig
Things have been going swimmingly for Claire Danes: She's racked up awards galore, scored a hit with "Homeland" and, much like her former "My So-Called Life" co-star, Jared Leto, has barely aged at all since the show debuted in 1994. Clearly, she was overdue for a stumble, and she flops in spectacular fashion, courtesy of this aggressively frumpy and chaotic Franken-frockthat both stupefies and stumpifies.
Raven-Symone's attempt to carry off tough-girl rocker chic is undermined by her "oh crap" expression, which plainly says, "Why on earth did I lean directly over that paper shredder"?
For the eight of you who were wondering what Ashanti is up to these days, here you go. Does this clear things up? Didn't think so. But judging from her Red Bull-dipped hair, earmuffed mammaries, mesh-encased torso, gold lamé panties and octogenarian-approved slippers, we're pretty sure she's landed the lead role in "Cher: The Shady Pines Years."
A swirly-boobed, candy-fied and fuzzy-footed Nicki Minaj answers the one question "Star Wars" fans never thought to ask: "What does Chewbacca see when he's tripping his Wookiee off?"

Fashion and scandal | part 1

So you think fashion is all glitz and glamour, but behind the thin veil that Separate he viewer and the designer are nothing but a big scandal.

It already hard enough trying to make it in the fashion business, but it is much harder when a PR/production company that try to rip you off.

With many years working in the fashion business working as a fashion model then now working my way up the fashion design ladder. It is nothing but shady people that work in the entertainment business that try to rip you off all your hard work one way or the other. For some strange reason that many people think or feel that designers these day are full of cash to throw around, but the reality of it all is that no one in the fashion business have any money at all.

It is not easy to be any type of artist to survive unless you make it to the top of the ladder. And trust me it is a very long climb to get up there. Struggling artist are everywhere, in any type of entertainment business, either in fashion, music, creative art or movie production. We are all struggling day by day trying to get by, we put everything we have to do what we love with not much in return. why do we stay in it? easy. A true artist will struggle through the high and low, hopefully one day that big break will come and make them a start, we all live in dream of hope and wishing tomorrow is the day that it will happen.

So question of the day: What happen when you give everything you got to reach your goal and suddenly everything you work so hard to achieve to get it, and it turn out to be possibly all bullshit?
