"Get your Freak on"

What do you do one a boring day?

Some write, some watch TV, some play video game, some go to the movie with friends or family, some go to the bar and get wasted, and some just eat and eat and eat.

Well I did all those so for tonight boredom I made a little video tribute to one of my favorite female rap artist, Missy Elliott to one of her song "Get your Freak on." Which I happen to listen to on the radio while stuck in the crazy afternoon traffic of LA.... So I guess this song was stuck in my head all day.

Enjoy!!!

Style Of The Decade.

1920: The 1920's were a time of Hair Revolution. Thousands of women flocked to hairdressers to chop their inches away as "The Bob" became an ever-present symbol of bold, modern femininity.

1930: 1930's Hairstyles moved away from the bold, boyish look of the 1920s in favor of softer, curlier styles that radiated voluptuous femininity.

1940: 1940's hairstyles were about elegance, sophistication, and yes, Victory Rolls. Many of the looks popular during this decade took hours to achieve, representing ultimate glamor.

1950: The 1950s were an enormously influential decade for American style. Post-WWII, the US was rebuilding its economy and moving (haltingly and often painfully) towards social change. The dynamism and simultaneous retreat to more conservative times are both apparent in the era's styles, which veer wildly from rockabilly hair to pixie cuts and primly waved bobs. It was a time of great change and style to match, so check out some of the decade's most prominent highlights.

1960: 1960's Hairstyles: The first half of the 1960s saw flips, bouffants, and beehives. Later, long, stick-straight hair parted down the center (with the help of many trusty irons) made the ultimate statement. The hairstyles of the 1960s reflect a cultural shift from the optimistic, prosperous post WWII era to the activism spurred in protest of the Vietnam War.

1970: 1970's hairstyles are a great place to draw inspiration from. The 70's were about self-expression and later, disco. With the advent of the hair dryer, women began to style their hair in looser, more natural looks.

1980: The 80's were...well, big: the fashionable probably invested in at least one can of hairspray a month. MTV made its debut, and video stars set the style standards of the decade.

1990: 1990’s hair and beauty styles were constantly changing and pretty much anything was acceptable. A huge fad was the ‘Rachel’ cut, Jennifer Aniston’s character in ‘Friends’ hair was long and sleek with longer length layers, a ‘grown-out’ fringe and framed with highlights around the face. Also extremely popular were short, choppy styles as Meg Ryans and many variations on the same theme.

2000 - Current: 2000 is the decade of ... well going back to the pass and experiment. And here are the style for the year 2000.

The Combover
The Blowover
The Poof
The Fauxhawk
The Beehive
The Blowout
The Shaved Head
The Half Shaved Head
The Kate Gosseline
The White guy with Cornrows

The White Guy With Dreadlocks

The Extenssions
The Emo
The Frosted Tip
The Little Man Part on The Old Man
The Eminem
The Space Alien
The Phil Spector

What do I have to say, 20th Century. We got some Styles!!!

Is it really worth the wait?

February 14th... Valentine Day.

Roses are red, Violet are Blue
It's Valentine Day.
What are you gonna do?

It is very credential to make your Valentine day reservation about a week ahead, just to be sure you get a small table for two at one of your favorite restaurant. But what happen if your reservation happen to be back up for two hours?

That is exactly what happen at the famous "Stinking Rose" Restaurant located in Beverly Hills, California. Famous for it unique use of "GARLIC", garlic on your bread, garlic on your chicken, garlic on your shrimp, even garlic on your ice cream.

Upon arrival to our diner reservation at 9pm sharp. Pulling up to the valet was hard enough, looking at the line of couples lining up to the freezing night, trying to get into the front door just make you want to fuck it and go to McDonald!!! The line was out the door, around the corner.

Turning to the valet attendant I ask "Is that the line for reservation" she reply "Yes we only take reservation tonight" Me "Oh Shit."

Exiting the car, my valentine trying to checkin on our reservation but the long line are for checking in reservation so we found out. Some people that have reservation at 8pm, an hour before us are still standing around the corner waiting for their turn to checkin "RIDICULOUS."

So as the line of hungry, angry, and horny cattle move slowly, very slowly to the hosting desk to check-in. It's finally our turn.

So excited and about to faint "Hi I have reservation at 9pm"
Host: "Yes, sorry for the long wait"
Me: "It's ok, not a problem"
Host: "You are check-in someone will give you a call in a few minutes."
Me: "FML"

As we turn and walk toward the very crowed bar of couples that are still in waiting for their name to be call, by this time it was around 10pm. I ordered a bloody mary by the bar and patiently waiting for my name to be call out, 15 minutes pass nothing. 30 minutes when by and half a glass of bloody mary down, feeling a bit BUZZ no "Peter Phan". 45 minutes pass the bar is clearing out and I can feel the chill going down my spine, is it dead or just the cold wind blowing on my backless black jumpsuit, still nothing.

An hour and ten minutes later (11:10pm) "Peter Phan"
My valentine: "Yes we are right here"
Me: "I need to pee"

As my kinda BUZZ self wobbling down to the powder room aka lady room, it is not that I really need to pee. I forgot to write a Valentine card for my date, sitting in the stall pulling out my pen and valentine card "Roses are red, violet are blue, I am starving to dead, I could eat you!" So romantic.

Again wobbling down to my small table for two. The main dining room was setup pretty nice. Red curtain for Valentine day, Bold black and white strip cabanas, clouds on the ceiling with cute small air balloons decoration, It really reminded me of "The Small world" at Disneyland but with wine and alcohol and lady gaga singing "baby I was born this way".

Our waiter name was Aaron kinda cute, actual he is a FINE ass!!! Damn! Very polite and upbeat.

As we look through the menu and stuffing our face with 3 full basket of garlic bread with lot and lot and lot of garlic. We decided to start out with "Roasted Garlic Potato Onion Soup" and "Sizzling Iron Skillet of Mussels"for entree we got "Rabbit roasted with olives & an extra virgin oil garlic tomato sauce" and "Silence of the Lamb Skank with chianti glaze & fava beans." and for desert "Garlic ice cream".

Everything turn out to be "DELICIOUS" very good food, very polite hot waiter, great romantic atmosphere. One Hell of a wait.

So "Is it really worth the wait?!"

And The Winner Are...

It really was a bitter sweet night at the Grammy's. Celebrating the success of one star and morn the death of the one and only "Whitney Houston." (A moment of Silent)

On a more Fashionable note, here are the top pick of the best dress of the night!

Still young and fabulous. Hand down the night was all about "Adele" who stole the show, winning six categories for which she was nominated for. But all eyes are definitely glaring at Taylor Swift who wore a Zuhair Murad Fall/Winter Haute Couture 2011 gown. The body hugging, embed with gold applique and embroidery over a barely there silk organza with mini cap sleeves and a mandarin collar are just simply DROOLING for.

Second runner up is (drum role please) ... Paris Hilton... Not exactly sure why she was there but I guess when your family own the Hilton Hotel, you can afford to get a ticket to the 54th Grammy's night and put on a fabulous dress from Basil Soda gown... very CHIC!

Third runner up is... the good girl gone bad then gone BLONDE... Rihanna who sported a simply slinky black dress from the house of Giorgio Armani... A little black dress can't do no wrong pair with delicate gold jewelry... Oh Gurl, you go !!!

Che'Nelle New World

Back in December of 2011, Che'Nelle contacted "House of Label" to come up with a new look for her to enter the American music market as she's sign to Virgin Record in NY city. And a Platinum recording artist in japan sign to EMI singing love songs with hit like "Baby I love you". Che'Nelle look was lack in edge and more of a girl next door pretty pretty girl I would say. And as an over the top and crazy for fashion "House of Label" rock it out with Che'Nelle on a grueling 12 hrs shoot. One look after the other, from natural to, edgy. It was just pure madness. We took a few shots in between, no not Camera "click" shot. But "Grey Goose" Shots. The Fabulous Mark Sacro was our photographer of the day, and he make the best popcorn ever. Anyway here are the final result that we finish with.... "Welcome to America"
